Reply askpcguy 20 June, 2011 at 2:37 am Seagate 750gb hard drive.  I was deleting files and noticed the delete performance was very slow on many small files under 10 MB There are a ton of places that will attempt data recovery, but many charge exorbitant prices (sometimes more than $2000!) and most of them won’t even guarantee that they’ll be successful. We recently attempted a data recovery from the crashed drive of a Popular Mechanics colleague whose 120 GB MacBook drive had spontaneously given up the ghost. Recuva I'd like to see added some recovery tools though.
