I've had no conflicts thus far, and am enjoying running all my games on ultra  Cheers. But I when I find the drivers online to download, the screen goes black after installing them. I'll give uninstalling the drivers a try, and if that fails then I could reformat I suppose. I had a feeling the warrenty claim might take a while as the card was no longer in production, so bought myself a really cheap 8600gt to be getting on with.

You certainly won't have to reinstall Windows, just install the latest nvidia drivers from the website after installing the card.
