I totally agree. We can already see signs that many users are merely trading the onerous tasks of doing system management badly for the onerous task of doing privacy management badly. I go at it in a f/u post [1], but the bottom line is that PCs are not cheap at all.

and I need several of the python notebook things open for my coursework too.   Does anyone have any ideas how I can spruce up my laptop to make it run I just hate to bother somebody every time I need a computer unlocked.
