Return it while your under warranty/ Get a fresh one that works out of box or put that 1k into a custom build from TigerDirect/NewEgg etc. However, the cursor isnt as smooth as it was with the HP drivers. I dunno where and how - even if I don't perform any manual or automatic windows or hp updates. Touchfreeze If you have a USB mouse, connect it to the laptop now. The only way I can effectively use the cursor is by touching the screen, which is not optimal in the way I need to work with this laptop. I went back to Best Buy and they swapped it out.

But I have managed to speak to the store manager of the place I purchased and got a laptop that was much more out of the price-range for a tiny price System restore resets the settings on the Notebook.Hope this is helpful.Thanks. This is where the market narrows considerably. Thanks.
