I let Windows search for the latest driver and this one is from early July, 2015, but it was apparently still too early for Win 10. Just updating the laptop wifi adapter driver did not fix the issue. A late-breaking Microsoft KB article details something I've seen others complain about experiencing. I have a brand new HP laptop and the wireless card worked for Windows 8.1 and not Windows 10. check over here

Arrows I have updated the articles, and added a short animation. I have to force the connection with either network diagnoses or reboot. right now it is on not share and I'm not sure if that is the problem or not.
