I turned the monitor off and on and it would appear to be okay for about 2 seconds then go directly into sleep mode. In both cases check the 'Allow hybrid sleep' setting. 1) For any hibernation problems the easiest solution is to set 'Allow hybrid sleep' to: 'Off'. (See screenshot). If the notebook computer has no mains electricity then Windows 7 connects instantly to the battery, and then applies your battery power management settings. You may also have to re-enter your password to resume after sleep, however that is another configurable setting.
I just won't do that. Just a hunch. Same flashing blue light. Windows 10 Won't Wake Up From Sleep Oh and when you configure energy saver, do not connfigure it for when plug it to wall.

That is why I never use those features. These may be especially important if you are using a Windows tablet, but they are also useful for laptops, and they all have to do with hibernation and sleep. You can try setting your wake timers to "Important Wake Timers Only" and see if it solves your problems. What is the meaning of combined commands `curl` + `apt-key add`? If you've recently installed it, you MIGHT be able to revert to the previous OS (search internet for how to do this). As with all task's, micro-management is counter-productive, in the case of the laptop you have to balance the hesitations from coming out of 'Sleep', with the battery wastage when you get I have to restart, it takes a long time to read the hd's in bios, then when it restarts there is no network connection, so I need to restart again. The downside of Sleep is that you lose unsaved data in the case of a complete power loss, this is because the information is stored in RAM.
