i have metro pcs here in wichita ks. New update for windows 8.1 fixed all the problems for me. Don’t open any unknown file types, or download programs from pop-ups that appear in your browser. Windows Defender is sufficient enough to protect your PC and in addition, turn off Autorun then you should be OK.
The relogin fixed the problem with using the apps for me , but they still have no icon in the task bar, this happened when i reinstalled my windows because i`ve Sign in to make your opinion count.
