Not only does it NOT change the display, more seriously, depending on the theme you select, it totally hoses up the display so that all you get is a black screen I already did all those steps in order to create a new account and then change it's type to Administrator. I've also created a Standard Local Account to be used 99.9% of the time.
When booted up I tried to schedule chkdsk in cmd prompt, & this message came up immediately "You Need Administrator Rights To Perform This Operation" (within the dos box). i know i shouldnt post this link (idk what rules are about posting links) but this is truely what she meant and this is what she should read because i read so I was able to do what I needed. I Installed Microsoft Publisher for her. I'll post the results later...
