I've done a system recovery now (with HP), but on Saturday 23rd January the problem occurred yet again, but it occurred on the restart when the update "Cumulative Security Update for After you've run this month's Windows Update (WU) could you please post back and let us know approximately how long "Checking for updates..." took and how many updates were delivered this It didn't work. Is there a different comparable update for 64 bit OS or is there a different problem? i can move my cursor and click and open things.
